I copied this pattern from online to make a cutting board using walnut, hard maple, and cherry. Looking at it straight on, the pattern looks nice. Looking at it from the corner, see what happens:

Amazing stuff there @Perplexed ! Beautiful. I can't imagine how many hours you put into that!

Thanks. This project demanded the most ever in terms of precision. As in, machinist precise within a few thousandths of an inch. That was tough given the nature of wood! This was my second attempt, as my first try wasn’t precise enough. I figured, ”Ah, it’s less than 1/32 of an inch off, that’s good enough.” Nope. The results were sloppy. The error in this second one was less than a 64th of an inch, yet I could still see where a few of the pieces didn’t line up quite right. I’ll need to re-zero the table and miter saws yet again and be very painstaking doing so, before my next attempt. Learning as I go.

Wifey forbids another UFO and I have to admit that damn week of 70 MPH wind ~wink wink~ took it out of me. Trying to take the thing down and it bends the pole, takes flight and me with it dragging me across the yard when we landed 15 feet away. She wants the old conventional skeletons and graveyard. Well, OK.

Maybe?

Use the pumpkin as a toilet?

Well, not much skill for this, just a little creativity.

I need something to connect a T post to my tractor to pull them out of the ground. I’ve been using a logging chain and wrapping that around the post then using either the box blade or front end loader to pull the t post up.

Decided the try something that should save a little time.

I used a really worn out brush hog blade. I knew they would be good for something.
