Finally shot the cannon. 800 grains of Pyrodex ffg. Quite the blast. First round sank into the tree about 4” and split it vertically about 4’. Second ball hit just above the first and went right through. Third ball is in the video and had a glancing blow that ripped out the side of the tree.

That is awesome!!! I'm so jealous!

FWIW, my Dad had a really old pair of spurs with double buttons for the leathers. Only pair I ever wore that never gave any trouble riding up/down.

We lived fairly close to the TQHA rodeo arena North of Denison, and I rode in the grand entry from 8 yrs until I got married. One guy tried his best to buy those spurs from me.

Dad woulda killed me. :D
