I usually just use an old beat-up gym bag that I've had for a long time. I call it Jim. Jim D. Bag. Jim is like totally non-descript; not at all threatening or in the least bit tactical. He's totally undercover, the quintessential "gray bag". You'd never guess that he has 4-5 pistols, mags, lots of ammo, small tools, eyes and ears, and a Gerber knife carried IGB (Inside Gym Bag). Jim has a flat, reinforced bottom and plenty of room and pockets for all the the crap you need. But, as Jim ages, snaps and zippers stick and break, and inside pockets and netting tears, and little worn places and holes appear, and I have begun to look at retiring him. I saw this cool set-up a guy had down at Big Boys in Mustang that kinda looked like a rolling carry-on; it had a slide-out padded compartment on the lower rear outside that tilted out to hold I think 4 pistols. It was purpose-built, from all appearances. I asked the guy about it; he said that they sold them there for like $100 - $120 bucks. I was gonna get one, but then I spent the money on more ammo instead and just stuffed it in old Jim. I've decided to use him till he just dies then unceremoniously toss him in the dumpster in favor of a newer, younger, better equipped, larger, stiffer and more substantial model. I heard something like that from the wife not long ago when she was pissed at me for something, and dang, they can apply to old Jim pretty well too.
