What color was the barrel originally and did you use the high heat stuff?

Stainless barrel. Not high heat. Krylon matte black primer.

Not too concerned about appearance, I'm going to paint over it with the ultra-flat tan camo, then put some green/gray overspray on it for additional blending.

Thanks for the info. I'm suppose to get a stainless barrel in a trade and I want to paint it black as well. Wasn't sure if I needed high tempature paint or not. I won't be rapid firing the gun, so I didn't think I would but you never know.
