Razors

Similar here as I have a Gillette Sensor two blade razor. I can get about two months worth of shaves out of each "cartridge." My youngest son also went out online and found a razor strop that is maybe 18 inches long and strops daily. He gets even more usage from each cartridge for his razor (not sure which one) than I get with mine.

Maybe I need to find a strop myself?

As a youngster I became very familiar with a razor strop. Our principal in grade school sharpened my senses with a strop to my hind end a few times.

Mine was Mr Lorge and a paddle with holes (less air resistance )
I’m still in search of a really good double edged razor. I buy a pack from Amazon by multiple manufacturers and can never remember which were better than the others.

I quit “shaving” a couple years ago, and now I use a set of clippers on the zero setting. It leaves a little “scruff”, but I just don’t give a sh*t anymore. The razors I use to trim around the edges are at least a couple years old.
