A while back, I saw Dennis Hoddy mention he was using the Arizona EZ Fletch for his crossbow. I liked the setup and bought one now that we don't live as close to an archery shop and I got tired of saving up arrows before making a trip. I'm moving from 3" vanes to 2" blazers. This morning I stripped down 3 arrows that had messed up vanes. Stripping them, even with a stripping tool, showed an overuse of glue by the person who set up the arrows for me. I took my time and got them as smooth and clean as possible, then rubbed down with rubbing alcohol. I fletched my first arrow without a hitch. The second arrow had a vane "walk" up the shaft upon closing the jig, so I stripped it and re-fletched it. This system is fairly fool proof, so long as you pay attention to the fletching seats prior to locking the jig in place.
