I can see this "scenario" at every restaurant we've been to in for the last couple of years, which isn't many due to the less than desirable environment. The last one was at the "dark grizzly diner" (name changed to protect the snowflakes). The dining room was a mess and after we received our drinks we overhead one waitress asking a waiter if they were really out of silverware... Oh dear. We order finger foods to work around issue and while eating noticed the waiter bussing a table by taking a couple of items back to kitchen in about a dozen trips. I commented to other half that it would probably go quicker with a cart or even a bussing bin to take less trips, but remembered they said they were out of silverware and assumed all bins were full sitting in back waiting to be washed. Then the waitress that was either on the spectrum or stoned off her a$$ was attempting to vacuum the filthy floor and had to verbalize every action she had planned with the other workstaff and asked where the outlet was in that section to plug in vacuum. Guess she couldn't find the YouTube video that shows every step of her job requirements... SMH! We're SO doomed!
