Real Maple Syrup education.

I was given some real maple syrup a while back and it had a skin of mold on the top.
I took it off and it was still fine and tasty.
Today I researched if this is common and yes it is with real maple syrup and you should keep it in the fridge to slow that
growth down.

I made some syrup from a silver maple in my back yard and it was good .. Not as sweet as North East Maple syrup.

We have 2 Autumn Blaze Maple out back and I'm fixing to plant 2 Sugar Maple up front. I've thought about trying my hand (just for the education) at making syrup sometime in the future. Thanks for the link!

I have buddies in Canada and NH that make it. I don't think you can get much better.

Real maple syrup is where its at. I know a guy in CT who made for a few years, several hundred gallons a season, he no longer makes it.

I have one sealed full bottle left.
