I've ridden several times. I think the best views are on the port side for your trip down since it'll be daylight and dark on your way back in the evening. No metal detectors or security. Carry concealed and you have nothing to worry about. The further south you catch your train at, the cheaper. Norman has a newly remodeled depot and nicer than OKC. Take the train down and Uber wherever you would like to go.
