When you register a vehicle from out of state, they require an inspection of the VIN to make sure the numbers match up with the title. That means the vehicle has to PHYSICALLY be here. I got all of mine inspected by the local tag agent. If I remember correctly, there was a $5 charge per vehicle. Of course, you have to have proof of liability insurance from an Oklahoma carrier. I think I had to have an Oklahoma driver's license before I could register the vehicles. That really hurt when I had to give up my Florida TrueID and get a regular OK license(since Oklahoma wasn't issuing them yet).
