Remington 1100 safety

I bought an 1100 few years back and it had a left handed safety. Can these be reversed to make it right handed? Gun is 1975.

In the 70s and 80s when I would buy a new 1100 I would buy just the safety button and pay the gunsmith $15.00 to change it to left hand.So being its made in 1975 a competent gunsmith should still be able to do it.I think I use to buy both right handed and left handed safties from brownells.
