If that happens maybe AAC will have better customer service.

Have you had a bad experience with them?

I've called them a couple times and they've been more than helpful. A buddy of mine had a shop remove his 51-T Blackout mount and they boogered it up. He sent it in to AAC and they sent him back a new one:eek2:

I actually talked to Mike Mers last time I called looking for a mount for my 7.62SD and he pointed me in the right direction.

Rumor has it that the military wants a BUNCH of 5.56 suppressors and AAC has what they want. What AAC apparently didn't have is the infrastructure and cash reserves to commit on such a large contract. Enter Cerberus, er, Remington M.P.D. and all is set.

I can't imagine that would bode well for civilian availability in the near future, at least on 5.56 cans. But that's just a rumor for now, so I wouldn't want to hang my hat on it.

I am however quite happy that my M4-2000 arrived from AAC last week. :)
