Drilling a hole in a brass case is perfectly safe if that's what you wanted to do. Brass won't spark. That's why they mandate the brass hammers, punches, etc when working around fuel tanks. Does anyone know these things anymore?

Thanks again guys, but (as mentioned) I've decided to just stay with live rounds.

Memory ain't what it used to be, and whether a chambered round is live (or not) is just one less thing to worry about.

Nothing against dummy loads or snap-caps (or folks who use 'em), they're just not for me. :drunk2:
