Going to be spending a couple days in OKC soon, and want to try some different eating joints. We usually eat at the "normal" places, like chain places and all. Have heard about Teds, Jimmy's Fried Pies, etc, and might try them out. Just looking for more recommendations. Thanks

I'll second Tucker's.
I go to the 23rd street location.
324 NW 23rd St, OKC, OK 73103

Also You have to try Ted's. Great food and service.
2836 NW 68th St, Oklahoma City, is the original location.

Ted's has never been the same since they went corporate
When was that?

I tried it about twenty years ago after hearing for ten years how great it was. I was hugely disappointed. There was nothing about the place that made a good impression on me.

I can't afford the high dollar dining options in the OKC area so there isn't anywhere that stands out as real special to me.

I do get to craving a chili cheeseburger from "Ron's Hamburgers and Chili" now and then.

I also had a good breakfast meal at a place called "Good Gravy" a couple of times.
