Rice bran

I picked up a couple bags today. I'm sure the rain would have an affect on it so I should wait til next week? Next question, if it does get rained on, does it ruin it or do the deer still come to it?

I put out rice bran 3 years ago in Woodward county and the deer wouldn't touch it. They ate the corn next to it no problem but the rice bran laid in a covered trough til it molded

The rain won't bother it, they'll still chow on it and will even lick the dirt where it gets rained in.

I haven’t fed it in a couple years, but deer and coons will eat it wet or dry. In my experience, it works well as an attractant.

When I first tried it, my deer wouldn’t eat it. After about a week or so they ate it. Corn was cheaper, so my experiment ended.

Tried it last season and nothing touched it. I think the pile is still there actually.

Lol, ok. I'd think standard fare like corn chops, sweet feed, or even the small creep feed pellets would be more appealing. Probably smell better (and farther) too.
