Now my son and I shoot so much that I clean them when they show performance issues or I feel like it. The boy cleans a lot of guns when he is bored. I can say I bet lots of precision barrels have been damaged by more over cleaning and bad chemical use than being shot dirty.</p></blockquote><p></p>
