I kinda think it's a neat idea. You and your neighbors buy Ring camera doorbells and download an app then watch each other's "incidents" in your neighborhood.

I have retired ladies all around my neighborhood that watch every thing going on for free. Then they post it on nextdoor app for anyone that missed it.

@dennishoddy, do you have any of your Wyze cameras installed outdoors? From what I've been able to tell, they are mostly designed to be installed indoors. I'd like to get a couple, but I don't really want/need them for inside.

I have one that has been installed outside, under a roof, for almost a year now. Works just fine.
