He brings his vast real world experience to his approach to teaching. </p><p></p><p>PISTOL/CARBINE 151 will be taught on Friday, 10 April, and will address the following:</p><p></p><p>During a fire-fight, the transition to your secondary weapon should be smooth and instantaneous. This class starts to build your muscle memory and gives you the foundation to know when and where to move from your primary to your secondary weapon. You should be THOROUGHLY familiar with both your carbine and pistol prior to attending this class. The AR-15 platform will be used as the primary weapon for carbine demonstration, but all other modern rifle/carbines can be used.</p><p></p><p>This is an all day class. We will be pausing around noon for lunch. Lunch will NOT be provided, so plan accordingly.</p><p></p><p>Length: 1 day class</p><p>Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm</p><p>Cost: $265</p><p>Type: Hands-On Training</p><p>Audience: Everyone</p><p>Prerequisites: You should be THOROUGHLY familiar with both your carbine and pistol.</p><p></p><p>Topics covered: </p><p></p><p>- Brief review of Carbine 101 and Pistol 101</p><p>- Equipment and kit placement</p><p>- Malfunctions and stoppages</p><p>- Transitions</p><p>- Muscle memory</p><p>- Target recognition</p><p>- Foundation drills throughout the day</p><p></p><p>Equipment list:</p><p>Rifle / Carbine, Pistol, Approximately 300 rounds of ammo per firearm, Weather appropriate clothing, Pants with belt, 4 Magazines per firearm, Outside the pants holster, Mag pouches, Rifle Sling, Eye and Hearing protection, Rifle/Pistol cleaning kit.</p><p></p><p>CARBINE/RIFLE 201will be taught on Saturday and Sunday, 11-12 April.</p><p>It will address the following:</p><p></p><p>Building on the foundation of Carbine 101, this class continues the development of the student's skill.
