Roll Call: Who was your first and where is she now?

My first was a lowly and oft-maligned Hi Point C9.I figured that if I didn't like shooting I wouldn't have invested much in it and if I did, I could move on. Well, I like shooting and I later sold it to a member here (though I can't remember who) to finance the down payment on a FN FNP-9.

S&W model 59. Has the nickel finish. Bought it at South west Shooters...remember them? It still resides in my safe today...fully functional.

The model 59 is an outstanding pistol. A friend of mine has one in nickel just like yours. He said it's mine when his time comes.

My very first was a Winchester model 94 30-30. Neither of my parents owned any guns, so I bought it so that my dad could shoot it. He always wanted to shoot one since he was a kid. I still have it

First pistol was a Springfield range officer. Great shooter but I traded it off like a dummy. I don't remember what i traded it for.

First was a Remington 581 left hand .22lr rifle. I got her in 1967 for Christmas, and still have her to this day. My first pistol I bought at the Rod&Gun club in Darmstadt Germany, it is a Browning BDA380 which I still have. Both guns will go to my son when I am gone.
