She was a little before my time as well, but I do remember her on this one...

It looks like Eddie Money died in 2019. I listened to that song 100s of times and never realized it had a backstory. Not knowing who Ronnie is/was that just blended as part of the rhythm to me

so when Edddie say: “Just like Ronnie says”

Ronnie sings: “Be my little baby”. A hit song of hers in the 60s.

Seemed like the artistic comprise work for both.
