the ray gun barrel is cool (pun intended), but the really neat part is not just that it's select fire, but rate of fire selectable too!

I have to ask, is 7.63mm a typo for 7.62mm (x25, if memory serves), or is that another cartridge of which I've never heard.

Honest question; I really don't know, but would like to!

Update: it seems the 7.63mm x 25mm served as the basis for the later 7.62mm x 25mm Tokarev (which, naturally enough, appears to have a bullet diameter of 7.82mm). I learned something today.
