Ruger 22/45 front sight.

Can one of you guys that bought the FO front sight for your Ruger measure the sight you bought and your old one? Mine is the Lite and Im afraid it is a different height. The FO comes in a .44 and a .365 and my factory sight sits in between those two. I was wondering if they measured a true .44. Just dont want to waste time, money, and an order. Thanks guys.

Just saw your post. Just checked and the factory is .44. Where are you measuring your site from? If you're doing it from the barrel up that's wrong. Should be from the bottom of the sight to the top of the sight.

Yes I was measuring the overall height of the site as it sits on the gun. Mine is just under .44 but over .365 or whatever the other one available was. I ordered the .44 and hoping I have enough adjustment to get it where it needs to be. If not, Ill have a .44 sight for sale.

The one I put on mine is .400"

I wasnt worried about it until I saw their ebay listing showing the short one fits the Lite.

Are you sure they are not the same? I searched the 22/45 lite and it seems it's the same height .44
