Anyone have one of these?
I was checking one of these out yesterday and kinda liked it.
Gave up my .45 pistol long ago and have a craving for another.
I know, I should get a 1911, but been there done that.

LEO trade in M&P 45s can be had for a heck of a deal right now. I got one with night sights case and 3 mags for 250. Aim surplus and botach has great deals on mags for them also. Just throwing it out there.

Were I to get another .45, I would consider the Shield if it was for carry, or maybe just a steel-framed full size 1911, like the plain old Ruger SR 1911. Now that right there is one fine, basic series 70 style 1911 pistol that won't break the bank and will be just fine for it's intended purpose. Of course, a Sig P220 wouldn't be a bad choice either. I kinda like Sigs. Or maybe a big old Glock 21...

So something off the beaten path..... have you tried a PPQ? I've got one in .45 and the trigger is excellent.

I have a PPQ M1, I really like the paddle mag release. If the PPQ .45 had that I'd have purchased the first one I found. The Ruger American does the same thing the PPQ does to provide an excellent trigger, the striker is 100% pre-cocked.
