I contacted Ruger about the rifle I purchased. Its a left hand 308.

I asked what parts are needed to convert from the flush mag to a AICS mag.

Well the left handed models cannot be converted to use the AICS or AR mags. Since the bolt is not machined to accept the conversion.

Just something for the Lefties out there to keep in mind.

Didn't know that but you won't be disappointed anyway.

Yeah but reloading is where it’s at for wildcat or un common calibers. Buddy of mine has a 243 WSSM and can make that thing SCREAM with hand loads. If I was gonna get a wssm it would be the 25, love my 25-06
I have two .243WSSM's. Fantastic caliber in the right platform.
Have a Ruger American in 6.5 manbun that I won at a DU banquet. Mounted a first focal plane Vortex scope on it and loaded some Lapua 108 grain Scenar HPBT bullets.
With zero breaking it was amazingly accurate at the 100 yard bay. Haven't taken it to the 300 yard bay yet but rifle season for deer is coming up so it's time to stretch it out and see how it performs.
