I cannot wait to see Ruger produce lever actions again. The current price on that 96/44 is ridiculous

Shame too. As much as Remington neglected their own firearms, they totally saved Marlin. Rebuilt all the tooling, brought quality back to Marlin.

I was kind of hoping JJE (PSA) would have won the Remington Ammo manufacturing business.

First I'm really hoping that Ruger doesn't discontinue any of the Marlin line like the .22s, especially the model 39.

Secondly, I hope they don't change the names of any of the Marlins to Ruger American Lever Rifle something or another. (Unless they really bugger them up and then I guess it won't matter much what they call them.)
