Ruger MKII Tapered Stainless

Didn’t know if there Is any Ruger guys on here or not. I hadn’t seen very many Mark II taper barrel in stainless didn’t know if value was any different than Bull Barrel stainless. Also does the shorter barrel in this type pistol bring a premium. It was made in 1993 and doesn’t appear to be fired.

The tapered barrel is typically the base model, so they are usually cheaper. The bull barrel will usually have upgraded target sights as well.

You can check sold items in GB, there were a few there to use as a basis for pricing.

This. I’m a fan of the bull barrel myself, especially for target shooting.

Very nice. Built to last a lifetime. Not sure if the grips will last 100 years, but the rest of the gun will.

If you have the box, $450-500 is not out of the question. Without the box, expect to lose about 50-75 bucks.

For some reason the tapered barrels don't seem very popular, but I think they look cool. Kind of that Luger look.

They didn’t make very many tapered barrels out of stainless. Very limited

Limited comparatively but still not in real demand. LNIB to a collector who needs one might bring a little extra but I'd put it on the shelf for the same or maybe a bit less then a bull bbl in the same condition just to move it down the line.
