I haven't handled that one but I have a SP101 and a GP100 in 327 mag. It's a neat little round that packs quite a punch.

Cool. Thank you for the offer.
I had read a few reviews, but just wondered what folks actually thought of that caliber in the single six frame.
What barrel length is yours?

It is the 4 5/8"s length, stainless with adjustable sights. I think that the .327 Federal Magnum in the Single Six sized frame is the best power to size ratio factory available. I actually shoot many more .32 H&R Magnum rounds than .327 but the .327 ups the power level quite a bit. The Single Seven has enough weight to tame the hotter .327 rounds.

I have one with the 6.5" barrel.

Seldom shoot 327 mag thru it tho.
I mostly load 32HR Mag and 32 S&W long for economy.
No doubt a 98 grain round nose in 32 mag or even a wadcutter in 32 long would anchor an intrusive armadillo or racoon though.

One small thing:
Ruger barely squeezes 7 rounds into that single six frame.
When you rotate the cylinder to load rounds or eject emptys, the important part happens just before the click.

I can post my load data if it would be helpful.

I enjoy my Ruger 32 h&r mag. Definitely a reloaders caliber.
