School me on the difference besides the adjustable sight on the 14. Both lock up tight and overall condition of both is good considering age. 10 is 64ish 14 about the same. What say you.
Unless they both have the same barrel length, we'll guess the 10 has a four inch barrel to the 14's six inch. A proper 14 will have a target hammer and trigger, this means both will be very wide compared to the 10, and the hammer's spur will be very finely checkered, and the trigger will be very finely grooved. The action on the model 14 double action an single will be smoother than the model 10 since the 14 is designed as a target revolver. The 10's main purpose is as its original name "Military&Police". Four inch heavy barrel carried for duty/sel defense.
I missed out on a very nice 6" or 8" (can't remember which now) 14 because I'd never heard of the model before - this was 10 years ago. I went home, looked it up, decided I wanted it and went back the next day. Gone!
