Looked at a smith and wesson revolver chambered in 22 rem jet but the barrel was marked 22 magnum. Is that the correct marking or whats the deal.Had never seen one before so I am stumpted.

ldp4570 is correct. The Jet was infamous for cracking forcing cones and burning out barrels. Remember you are pushing alot of pressure through a .22 opening. Case set-back, locking up the cylinder was a common complaint. Overall, it was not a great success and thus was dropped by S&W.
The guy wants 500.00 for the gun and 170 rounds of ammo.It has the 8 inch barrel and is pretty nice, target grips not original.Good deal or no.
