I have a S&W 360PD Scandium frame five shot .357 I used to carry as a back-up. If a .357 JHP doesn’t kill them, the fireball will roast their bodies and they‘ll be in shock from the concussion followed by deafness.

When I first got this gun I took it to the range and ran a box of 50 factory 147 grain JHP through it. My arm was still sore from the recoil three days later.

In my opinion, the fact that S&W would even chamber an airweight in 357 speaks to Smith’s confidence in the frame durability. :anyone:
