If you kill it you got to eat it. You know the rules ,eat what you kill,and only kill what you.
After you skin ,with some small tacks stretch it out on a 1x6 and let it dry,make sure there's no meat left on it to rot and rub so borax on it.I wouldn't know where to start. I was actually more interested in the skin though.

Totally get it and agree. Probably wouldn’t kill a grown cow but a calf might die. If they had rattles, even the cattle could avoid them.Dang beautiful snakes. Wish you would’ve just let them be. I get it that no one wants to be bit, but ain’t like a snake is looking at you for dinner.
