Would you believe that I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet The danged weather has not been terribly cooperative lately

Seems like a good time to do underwater testing?

Keep us posted. Interested in one of these or the GP100 10mm.

While looking on the S&W forum, I happened across a piece of information that I tried and found that it seems to have helped. The 610 had a rough trigger-pull, and the post on the other forum suggested that it could be dried oil that the factory left in the action. My idea was to spray the innards with WD-40 and let it set for a while. This seems to have helped, as the trigger now seems a lot smoother. However, WD-40 can dry and get all sticky as well, so I applied some 91% rubbing alcohol to get rid of that and my next step is going to be a good degreaser. I have some that I used on my 986 because the sight was coming loose, and I applied some loc-tite, fixing that issue.
