Anyone have experience with the newest run/s of the Model 66? They are offering a 2.75" barrel version this year, and it's catching my attention.

I'm assuming they have the Hillary Hole, but either way can buy an original 66 for that much.

Yes, they have the lock...I don't care about that because it's a 5-minute fix. Have you shot any of the latest ones?

Also, the new ones are designed to take full-power magnums loads, whereas the old ones sometimes fail with sustained use of those.

Yes, it does. Another advantage of this model. It's pretty sexy!
