S&W price check

I’m looking at possibly buying a S&W 44 mag Mountain Gun, it’s blued with what looks to be a 4”-41/2” bbl. adjustable rear sight with a turn line.

It does come with the lawyer lock, which kinda surprises me because I thought S&W quit making them prior to the lock but obviously I’m wrong.

I haven’t seen it in person just pics from a buddy.

Anyone got an idea what this might be worth?

From what I see, Smiths are high right now. I would expect a gun like that to bring at least $900-1000, but I could be wrong.

I typically use truegunvalue.com for pretty accurate values. You’re probably not going to like the value of the Mountain Gun, but it gives an average resell value of $1389.
