Like someone said before.... for me it would depend on the intended use. I'm a huge S/W revolver fan and both of those are excellent choices. My gut says go with the 65 since you said equal price and condition. 357s tend to be valued higher than 38s...but dang, a model 15 an amazing piece. Maybe you should figure out a way to get both!

It doesn't matter now because they are no longer available. I went to a sale that was one gun per person, first come first served.

I was number 24. By then both of these were taken along with a couple of airlites.

I did manage to pick up a model 640 in .357 magnum though.

Didya ever mention how long the snouts is on these two wheelies? If the 65 were a 3 inch round butt, I'd say hells yeah.

But then again, a 2 inch model 15 is a looker too.

Tough call, brah.
The barrel lengths weren't listed and I definitely would have chosen one over the other if a hard to find barrel length was available.
