So, on the subject of safes. Does anyone think a mobile home floor could support a safe? Not a massive one.
Depends on the density, how strong the mobile home floor is, and where you place it in relation to the floor structure I would guess? I know two people that have good-sized safes in their mobile homes without issue. I would probably lay out some plywood or 1/8 metal plate or something to help disperse some of the weight.
A screw jack with a platform underneath would most definitely help. Obviously none of us are experts (save a few).
I invested heavily in my kids and G’kids as they were/are growing up. So it’s been a solid investment.
