If anyone still cares I finally moved the save today. About 900# without the door. My lifting dollies are way to big to get where I needed to go (6K# EA) and the narrow pallet jack would mess up the floor unless I put down a couple layers of Masonite. This way was slow but not too difficult and I could do it by myself (the kid helped move the slider sticks)

When my safe was delivered they used 6 boards with 3 strips of teflon on each one. The save would slide easily on the strips. As it got to the end of the first two boards they would throw down another two with a spare set if they needed it. Guy told me they could move any safe that way though some needed three boards instead of two. Ask about flipping them and just sliding the rails on the surface and the guy told me that tended to wear down the slides faster than the smooth metal of the safe.
