They are slaying them on the Spring river north of Grand.
I’m going to try my luck tomorrow up in the Elk Eiver branch of Grand.
Will let you know how I do.

Are you catching any? I was in the upper elk river once in my Ranger bass boat and started following a guy when it turns into a small river. We were running about 50 mph and I looked over the side. We were in only a couple foot of water and it was getting more shallow.
Then heard the guy we were following trim up his motor and realized we were following a jet outboard. When we shut down we hit bottom, and it took awhile with a log to jack the boat around and get it pointed downstream.
We stayed at Longs Resort or Tera Miranda on Monkey Island. Been a few years so don't know if they are still around.
Love Grand Lake. We need to revisit it.

I marked a bunch of them but only caught a couple of keepers. The graph pics and the couole I caught was by Blue Bluff & Lee’s resort on the Elk River.
The only place I have heard of anyone catching any is up at twin bridges and the Spring River.
