[QUOTE="swampratt, post: 2924028, member: 15054"] I picked one up here from a member. I got to shoot it yesterday. It was gusty when I was shooting and that is my excuse. I used my vinyl homemade bag on the forearm. The Axis .223 has a narrow forearm and stability for shooting tight groups is tough with the wrong bag or rest. My regular Axis ,I have 2 the SR 20" barrel (suppressor ready) and the regular Axis with 22" barrel. My groups Improved when I installed a bi-pod on the Axis. It steady's the rifle. I shoot it on the bag with the legs closed point the same way the barrel is pointing. I used my Regular Axis load for this new Axis SR. At 200 yards it printed a 3 shot group 1.690" center to center. I rocked the gun sideways in the rest on 1 shot. Needs Bi-Pod. or better bag or quit shooting off the top of my car... actually the Car is stable. My regular Axis with Bi-Pod shot a 3 shot Group of .808" at 200 yards yesterday. way low and left of POA ..Just got it back from a friend..I think he tweaked something on it. Now at 100 yards the Axis SR printed 3 shots into a .780" group. 2 going into the same spot.. those were the last 2 shots. Here is the Axis SR picture (target) POA (Point of Aim) was the same spot center of the black.
