SBR 10/22. Who has one?

So now that I have a can on the way from Dustin I had a thought to SBR a 10/22 I have in the closet. I really had no intention of threading the barrel on it since I bought a 22/45 with a threaded barrel and Im planning to thread my 17hmr. If I were to thread the 10/22 I would probably buy a new barrel anyway so should I just go ahead and SBR it? For those of you that have a SBR 10/22 what length barrel do you have and how do you like it overall.

I have been thinking about SBR'ing my 10/22 as well. Saw this gun over at SilencerTalk and really like the look of it, but I think I would prefer a side folding stock for even more compactness.

Thats more what I'm thinking about Dustin. The ones with the super short barrels and folding stocks look cool but I like that look better. What barrel is that?

Adams and Bennett. I didn't like the 5" can making my little carbine into a 21" long barreled version. It is nice and handy now.

I'm at work so I can't see what pics you guys are posting, but have you seen the SB-X option from Tactical Solutions? If you plan on shooting with the can on all the time is a good option for not having to go through the SBR paperwork. I'm planing on going this route when I get home to build my 10/22.

Hmm that is interesting. 12.25in barrel with a 4.25in welded shroud.
