Surefire Scout light (dunno it that is gonna stay there or not)

I got my stamp yesterday, April 17. Paperwork mailed on Feb. 1. 76 days door to door.

Now my parts aren't here yet and it's driving me crazy!!

Even though it's probably obvious, I guess I'm missing it.
What are we looking at exactly?
I understand it's the muzzle brake, but what's the problem I'm not seeing?

Im guessing the carbon buildup... other than that, Im lost too.

Look at the two holes that pass through the muzzle brake and you'll see where the metal is pitting/ eroding already. This is only after 150 rounds. And no it's not carbon I cleaned the piss out of it.

For as much as I like the brake It's likely time for me to find a pig to put up front.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.
BTW: That'll happen to the pig to. But they are definately cool.

Yeah it will do the same to the pig , you just won't be able to see it till you split it open for cleaning.

You should see both my NT4 and the mount after about 7,000 rounds down a 10 inch barrel for some sweet erosion.
