I need to get this scope further back but you can see there is no room. I bought it this way and it’s a great shooter. I just have to get to far up on the gun to be comfortable. I always wanted one of these but my knowledge is lacking on them. I’d like to stay period correct as possible. Other than using a scope that doesn’t have an end bell, or a unertle (sp)copy, I don’t have any ideas.
Hoping someone who knows these things could chime in.

If not for the way the rear mount sweeps forward, you could move the scope back some. Not sure if the make a different mount for that.

Their web site sucks and doesn’t give a lot of info on the base but maybe talking with someone will lead you to a positive outcome.

Here's a LOAD of info 4 U 2 digest , over the yrs i'ev had a few....alwats choose dbl set triggers & worked the bolt 2 as smooth as silk.... my 264 would only shoot 100 gr bullets (twist was different) my 308 shot 150 grs in the same hole , my 243 did did ok....also had a heavy barrel Steyr in 222 BUT they buffed out the TWIST (i wanted the twist) it shot in the same hole too , i now have the 1 pictured in 243 it shoots ok & very light to carry & has a strong twist , BUT the quality is NOT the same...plastic mag etc....doesn't hold up to the old ones , not in the same catagory.....Enjoy the pics , hope they all go thru......STEVE .
