Got my first “nice” knife. It’s an SDS Knifeworks out of Piedmont by Shawn Shropshire. Buckeye Burl and D2 steel with a sheath he made. Easy guy to deal with and the knife is beautiful and sharp.

I almost went to his open house thing a few weeks ago. His social media is full of amazing work

I have purchased several knives from Shawn over the past couple of years. My BIL has had some specialty knives made as well.
Great guy that makes great quality, functional knives. Very easy to work with as well.
