That is the standard format for the AR15.com thread that contains all the information on people's current transfers. There are a couple of threads over there that contain a lot of information on a lot of different transfers. It is a great thread to see how fast your examiner is on processing transfers and getting a feel for when your transfer should/might be approved.
Since the examiner depends on your dealer's name or your/trust name, it is nice to list the Transferor/Maker Letter so others can reference this information. The examiner's name is for quick reference instead of trying to keep up with what examiner processes what letters.
A lot of people just post the time frames which will give you a timeframe of what transfers are running. Without knowing which examiner the person had, the information is pretty much useless unless you have the same examiner. Big difference between examiners and SANTAMARIA IS THE BEST!!!

I've already given the mailman a Warno to look out for a guy hiding in the bushes that may pounce on him if he sees any correspondance from ATF...
You're a good man Bryon. That mailman owes you a debt of gratitude.
How do they notify you of approval? Then what do you do to get the equipment?
You call the ATF for status and your dealer calls you when he gets the form in.
Is there an estimated time that it will take for Bryon to get the letter now?
No. It all depends on how long it takes for it to get to the mail room then how long it takes for the mail room to get it in the mail. It could be 3 to 4 days or a couple weeks. My first form 4 was in a few days.
Well good luck on this one.
Any update on the rest of the setup you were putting this on?
