So, when I left my home in the PNW I brought some seeds with me, wish I would have taken more but gave most of my bank, and my chickens, to a friend with similar interest. I did bring a bag of kale seeds, I was growing the wild St Hermans red Russian and a stabilised offspring of a hybrid collard. Long story short I put a bunch in last fall, both parents dies in the freezes but I was left with a few odd plants that survived unprotected. In am going to let them go to seed and would like to see them tried out by other Oklahoma gardeners. My only request is that the parent strain be named Martyr Rother and that it not be used for profit, aside from the proceeds going to a Christian hospital system. It taste like kale.

Also what other seeds you got? I got melons, pumpkins and a few others for trade

On the occasion I grow kale, its for the chickens. After watching a perma pasture video yesterday, I ordered 5 new to me seeds. Mostly squash and from baker creek. There's some they didn't have but I'll look elsewhere . The only seed I have that may not be commercially available is a okra.
