There is a forum heading dedicated to 'Self Defense and Concealed Carry'... maybe the Administrator / Mods need to start a dedicated heading for 'Self Defense and Open Carry' in order to isolate all the Open Carry stories we will be having starting in a week. I'm sure we will be having Open Carry topics about LEO license checks, harassment by certain officers [so we can estabish a pattern with certain officers], which towns are the most likely to check ID, which are cool about it.... and so on. -------- Side comment- I noticed a Norman Transcript on-line article that [appears] to contain some bad info. The OK2A Association might want to contact them and straighten the issue out... otherwise someone open carrying might get themselves in a lot of trouble depending on this info by refusing to produce a license on the demand of a LEO Their news article states-- [I]Law enforcement officials say they can ask a person openly carrying a firearm to see their license but that person does not have to comply.
