Sgt. Everett’s Closed

I went by Sgt Everett’s in Norman on Thursday only to discover that they had gone out of business. So much for my yearly membership that I had purchased. When I would go by during the week they always seemed really slow, but on Saturdays I would need to wait for a lane to open up.

Hopefully someone takes it over and fixes it up.

I shot there in the past since it was near my house. The lanes were dimly lit and pretty run down. It was also hot as hell in the summer. I found it worth the drive to go to Big Boys. It's hard to compete with climate controlled, well lit, and clean lanes.

I went there last summer and it was hot as heck in the range. No ventilation and the place was pretty dirty. Had to kick a spot out to shoot from and the target string (yep string) was hard as heck to force out

I do too. It's hard to find but handy where it's located.
