Sheriff declares Logan County a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary

Chris West. our sheriff in Canadian County, also encourages all people that legally can carry to do so. He thinks it will make everyone safer. He has stated this on his personal Facebook account as well on TV when he has been interviewed.

Probably about as much chance as Tulsa county.

I'm not sure it means a whole lot at this point anyway until our state constitution is amended to include full protection of our 2A rights.

The way I see it the more counties we have declaring 2A Sanctuary the better chance we have of amending our State Constitution.

From what I see on the news every morning it sounds like there are plenty of folks already treating it as such . . . legally or not.

Cotton County has declared.
The Sheriff is very 2A. Granted, he is running for re-election, but he is not just pandering for votes.
Regardless, even if some are pandering, the precedent has been set and voice of the people heard.
The more counties that are included, the better. The big city areas are the iffy parts.
Lawton, Comanche County is not declared.
Ardmore, OKC, Tulsa ( most of NE quarter ).
