Now if they would just start using smaller boxes for smaller items. You’d be amazed how crammed a carriers vehicle gets with large boxes that contain small items.

But, if they do that, they will have to make smaller shipping labels. Not sure the sorters and route guys/gals could read the smaller labels.

The sort is made by machine bar code until it gets to the carrier and trust me, they can read any kind of chicken scratch out there. They waste a lot of cardboard putting small items in big boxes. The label is only about 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Plenty small enough to fit on all but the smallest boxes. When I was working, USPS carriers average about 20 packages a day. Now it’s about 120. All of them won’t even fit in a vehicle some days.

I knew that. I was trying to be facetious.

And once again... I can't believe this is happening.

Progress (really?) is bottom to top.

I ordered an upper/lower, lpk, barrel, gas block and tube from Sons of Liberty Gun Works on December 26th. I have not gotten the order yet and my status still says awaiting fulfillment. I emailed them and never heard back. So after the third email I finally got a reply and the woman was making an excuse by saying they were still trying to get caught up from Black Friday and Christmas. This was three days ago. So almost a month later and they are still behind apparently. She said they would hopefully have it out by this last Wednesday. Well obviously it didn’t ship. This is my first ever order with this place and so far I won’t ever go back. I have heard great things about them too. I get that they aren’t a huge company but a month to ship is ridiculous. If it doesn’t ship by Wednesday I am canceling it. I ordered from PSA and PA on Black Friday and Christmas and my PA order arrived 4 days after I order and the PSA lower came about 6 days later. So the holidays didn’t affect them any.

Some discount cycling stuff from AliExpress. Got from Shanghai to L.A. in 10 days.... 3 days in Customs (the ISC), now sitting at the L.A. post office for 6 more. No idea where it is now. It's maddening.

Ha! Notice the last two (top entries) of my post.

I just realized the package left OKC January 18, 2019, 2:22 pm, and arrived back in Waco January 18, 2019, 2:49 pm.

27 minutes from OKC to Waco... not bad. :D

I don't know...

...I might have felt the turbulence from that truck passing. I just didn't see the truck.

This one does look strange. Here’s my guess in what happened but it’s just a guess. I think part of the label got torn along the way and the only part visible is the return address so it’s waiting for them to pick it back up. I’ve seen this happen before. Another forum member here had a jacket sent to him years ago and this happened. I was still working then and was able to find it. It had about a third of the label left. I’d be interested to know if and when you get it if that’s the case or not. I’d be frustrated too on this one. I’d call the company and ask for them to ship again.
