Some of y'all have probably seen these, but I been looking for a cheap, easy way to make a shooting rest, I'm making some of these.

I have a couple of these full of corn which you can microwave to use as a heating pad also.
    Cheap, lightweight and easy.

That's a clever idea. I use two 40 pound bags of oil-dry wrapped in plastic sheeting on a picnic table.

I made some from left over boat vinyl, filled with worn out walnut media in bags and in the bottom for added weight some plastic bags with lead shot in them.

I left my bags at home on a shooting day and I gathered up some sand from a mole hill and wrapped it in brown paper sack and duct taped all over it.. worked well also.

I like the simplicity of the one in the video though.

I was looking at the rice thing, but couldn't think of anything light. I think these pellets would be super light.

I have used a bag of rice and a bag of pinto beans as a rest.
Do not get the pellets that leave a mark as after time they will give off a terrible smell.
